A highly anticipated moment of the 2024 Flormart Green Italy edition was the presentation of the Flormart Green Italy 2024 Award, organized by exhibition sector to recognize the best innovations in the green field. This award was given to projects that distinguished themselves through originality and practical impact across various areas, from corporate green management to sports and leisure, as well as new industrial districts and commercial spaces.

For the 2024 edition, the award for Green for Businesses went to SALMEC SRL for the EASY CAR, designed to facilitate movement in nurseries. Its Easy Load system and 180° rotating steering wheel make it unique in the Italian market. The Green for Sports and Leisure award was given to Hortival Diffusion – Minier Solution Pro (France) for the Campsis x tagliabuana Ebony & Red®, a vigorous climbing plant that blooms abundantly from July to September with vibrant red flowers and glossy foliage. 

The Green for New Industrial Districts award was presented to Bruni Stefano for the Mean Green Majoris Riv 152 electric machine, known for its modularity and flexibility, offering various cutting width configurations and battery packs, all constructed with a lightweight and durable aluminum frame. Lastly, the Green for New Commercial Areas award went to Società Agricola Romiti Vivai s.s. di Pietro e Figli (Pistoia) for their gazebo made from Photinia Red Robin or Rhynchospermum jasminoides, an innovative solution that replaces the traditional gazebo with a natural structure, providing a green, shaded refuge.

These projects exemplify the excellence and creativity of the floriculture sector, placing sustainable innovation at the forefront to address the challenges of tomorrow.
