The Green Bonus, a 36% tax deduction for the landscaping of outdoor spaces around homes, expired on December 31, 2024. The proposal for an extension in 2025 was not approved. The amendment suggested extending the Green Bonus for another year, which would have then expired on December 31, 2025, instead of December 31, 2024. This measure was estimated to cost 0.2 million euros for 2026, 5.9 million euros for 2027, and 3.6 million euros for each year from 2028 to 2035.
However, the proposal was not followed up, and the 2025 budget law came into effect without the Green Bonus extension.
