Now in its 10th edition, the CITY’SCAPE AWARD & SYMPOSIUM stands as one of the leading international events in the field of landscape architecture. Organized by the National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists (CNAPPC) in collaboration with Paysage TOPSCAPE – International Landscape Architecture Magazine, the award continues to promote excellence and innovation in urban and landscape design.
The CITY’SCAPE Award 2025 reaffirms its role as a key platform for recognizing landscape architecture as a strategic tool for urban transformation and resilience. The next edition will be held on June 19–20, 2025, at the Triennale di Milano, amidst growing awareness of the need for sustainable, systemic responses to the climate and social challenges of our time.
THEME 2025: Landscape Project for Life and Climate
This edition highlights the role of landscape design in rethinking our territories with an environmental, regenerative, and social lens. The parallel theme, “From Grey Infrastructure to Green Socialstructure”, encourages a shift in perspective—reimagining traditional grey infrastructures as living, inclusive systems that offer not only technical solutions but also new opportunities for collective wellbeing.
OBJECTIVE
The award aims to attract the best in international landscape design and celebrate outstanding projects that demonstrate originality, innovation, and design quality. It fosters new balances between built and natural environments, promoting dialogue and synergy between architecture and landscape for future territorial dynamics.
