Ten plants have been nominated for the “Show Your Colours Award IPM 2025”. The event focuses on attractive design, storytelling, and unique concepts to promote plants with high perceived value and maximize contribution margins. The award ceremony will take place on January 30th.
The ten nominations for the prestigious Show Your Colours Award IPM 2025, organized as part of the IPM Essen international fair, have been announced.
The award aims to recognize not only the beauty of the plants but also their ability to tell a story. This multidimensional approach encourages companies to innovate by integrating narrative marketing and creative design, key elements for attracting consumers and industry professionals.
The event represents a potential international platform for nurseries and producers, highlighting the importance of product enhancement to stand out in an increasingly competitive market that is also more focused on sustainability and storytelling.
The award, designed to highlight plants with distinctive added value, acknowledges exhibitors’ efforts in combining creativity and quality. Among the selected candidates, innovations in pot designs, carefully crafted labels, and unique concepts stand out, all of which are capable of telling stories that capture the attention of the public and industry professionals.

The nominated plants will be displayed in Hall 8 during the three days of the fair (January 28-30, 2025). The public will have the opportunity to vote using tokens provided by the organizers. A panel of experts will evaluate the products based on their design, concept, and storytelling ability. The winner will be announced on January 30th at 3:00 PM at the BIZZ Holland stand (Hall 8, stand 8A30-4).
